[The Yung] Better Than Yesterday, Again

Mukhi Sisters revisits one of its signature designs with new colourways for the Better Than Yesterday heart pendant, first introduced in 2021. The piece began with a simple idea: progress does not always have to be dramatic. Sometimes, being a little better than yesterday is enough. That message was inscribed onto a vintage-inspired heart pendant, turning an everyday reminder into something personal to wear and carry. Five years later, the sentiment remains unchanged, while a new series of colour combinations brings a fresh energy to the design. For designer and co-founder Maya Mukhi, the update reflects that in-between moment of the year associated with new plans, renewed energy and optimism about what comes next. The new Better Than Yesterday colours are available now at the Mukhi Sisters boutique in Downtown Beirut and online.
